We are Martin, Anne, and Robert, and we love to travel. We used to backpack around the world, sleeping in hammocks, shared rooms, buses, and airplanes...no matter how uncomfortable, our backs could handle it.
Over the past few years, we've been exploring Europe with our children and dog in a bus, campervan, or motorhome. Sleeping comfort was less than ideal, and we always looked forward to our beds at home. Eventually, we asked ourselves why this was the case and how we could solve this problem!

Together, we set out to explore new horizons and revolutionize sleeping comfort in motorhomes. Our goal is to combine maximum sleeping comfort with an optimal fit. What do we need for this? Simply a very good foam that is not only stable but also breathable, open-cell, and highly elastic with a high density.

Anne and Robert's father opened a foam manufacturing company in Rostock over 34 years ago and has always worked with a cold foam that possesses precisely the aforementioned properties. We can draw on so much experience and customer feedback that we are happy to share it and allow others to benefit from it.

You can purchase our mattresses in three different firmness levels, and if you're unsure which firmness is right for you, simply choose the two-layer option. This mattress features a medium-firm and a firm foam layer. If you prefer something a little softer, or perhaps suffer from back problems, we also offer relaxation mattresses. These combine cold foam with viscoelastic (Tempur, memory) foam.

What we still needed...the perfect fit? For this, we needed the exact dimensions of motorhomes worldwide, which form the core of our database. The result was Womido.
